Located in O’Connor, Rubra Coffee are WA’s most awarded coffee roasters with over 23 medals earned from the prestigious Sydney Royal Fine Food Show.

Supplying award winning coffee beans to the retail market and the wholesale market with the ability to produce private white-labelled blends for cafes, restaurants and bars, it was unquestionable that Rubra Coffee have more than what it takes to take market share off the well known commercial coffee suppliers around Perth.

Brief

The only problem is that Rubra Coffee couldn’t be found when new establishments, or existing businesses looking for a change, were searching for coffee bean suppliers on Google.

With active searches happening for coffee suppliers in Perth each month with serious, long term commercial intent, the lack of presence in Google’s organic listings had to be remedied.

A short-term SEO strategy was necessary, mostly addressing on-page issues, in order to help Rubra’s strong offline reputation transfer to the online World.

 

Solution

Rubra Coffee had been in the press a fair bit and already had a fairly solid backlink profile due to some of those being linked back to the website.

Local citations around the web were bolstered, publications with unlinked brand mentions were reached out to to get them linked along with unique, cleverly optimised content was placed on the website.

Results
